[PC] [ReShade Preset] – CLARITY – for Mafia III by BaSe

  • description Description

    Effects:

    • Clarity
    • Curves
    • Deband (subtle)
    • FXAA
    • HighPassSharp
    • Levels
    • LumaSharpen
    • Tonemap
    • Vibrance

    What does it do?

Removes the yellowish, brown tint and the absurd amount of blur.

    What do I get?

A "clean", much sharper and smoother looking game.

No need for fancy cinema effects or oversaturated colors...it's New Bordeaux not Hollywood.

    Performance hit?

    ~ 10 FPS worst case @ 1920x1080

You need to Download the official ReShade Setup tool (3.63Mb) from here:

    ReShadeMe

    or here:

    Mediafire

    VirusTotalScan

    (1/55 is false positive)

    1.

Start the setup tool, click "select game" and go to your Mafia 3 game directory.

    2.

    Click on the Mafia3.exe

Then click in the circle from the setup tool and choose:

    Direct3D 10+

    3.

Click "Yes" for downloading the shader effects. (7.50Mb)

    If prompted let it overwrite.

    4.

First click "Uncheck All" then check the following 9 boxes and click OK:

    • Clarity
    • Curves
    • Deband (subtle)
    • FXAA
    • HighPassSharp
    • Levels
    • LumaSharpen
    • Tonemap
    • Vibrance

    5.

Now go in-game and press Shift+F2 to see if ReShade is working. (If it doesn't go to step 2 again.)

    6.

Start the ReShade tutorial and follow it through for the basic settings and the .ini file

    7.

Now go to your game directory where the games executables are and find your .ini file. (Not the dxgi.ini.)

    8.

Open your .ini file with a text editor and delete everything inside.

    9.

Copy the content from the the sites  "settings" tab and paste it into your ini.file.

    10.

Save and close the .ini file.

Go in-game and click reload in the ReShade overlay and toggle the effects with the key you assigned in the tutorial.

    That's it.
